Description:

We’re looking for a highly motivated Lawyer Trainee who’s eager to learn the inner workings of legal practice from the ground up — no prior experience required, just a passion for justice and attention to detail. You’ll work alongside experienced lawyers, assisting with legal research, drafting internal notes, and preparing supporting documents for real cases. We’ll teach you how to analyze laws, interpret contracts, and translate complex regulations into practical advice. You’ll help prepare case materials, organize deadlines, and ensure that all filings and references are up to date. Expect to sit in on strategy sessions and learn how lawyers analyze risks and build persuasive cases. We’ll walk you through the legal reasoning behind clauses, compliance rules, and standard corporate legal practices. We’ll introduce you to legal project management tools, filing systems, and how to work within deadlines and confidentiality boundaries. You’ll support compliance checks, risk assessments, and see how internal policies align with local laws. We’ll introduce you to legal citation styles, internal procedures, and the basics of litigation preparation.

Basic Qualifications:

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—finance, HR, compliance—to tackle cross-functional issues.
• Break down complex legal language into clear, actionable information for non-lawyers.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents with precision.
• Prepare cases by gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and building strong arguments.
• Advocate for your client’s best interests while staying within ethical and legal boundaries.

Preferred:

• Experienced in managing case files, deadlines, and legal correspondence efficiently.
• Thrives in high-responsibility environments where precision and professionalism matter most.
• Comfortable preparing legal briefs, pleadings, and internal memos for litigation or advisory work.
• Can stay composed and analytical under pressure or during high-stakes matters.
• Background or specialization in a legal field such as corporate law, litigation, human rights, tax, or environmental law.
