Description:

We’re looking for a creative and strategic Remote Branding Consultant to help our clients define and elevate their brand identity. You’ll work closely with clients to define their brand's mission, vision, and values, ensuring consistency across all marketing efforts. You’ll assist in developing brand messaging, positioning, and voice, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints. You’ll help clients develop a strong visual identity, including logo design, color palettes, and typography, to ensure brand recognition. You’ll create cohesive brand guidelines that ensure consistent messaging and design across all platforms and marketing materials. You’ll work with the marketing team to ensure that the brand’s voice is consistent across all platforms, from social media to print materials. You’ll analyze industry trends, market conditions, and consumer behavior to provide actionable insights that inform branding decisions. You’ll support businesses with rebranding efforts, ensuring a smooth transition while retaining core brand elements. You’ll help clients with brand positioning, ensuring they stand out in a competitive market and appeal to their ideal audience.

Basic Qualifications:

• Support rebranding initiatives by outlining what to keep, what to evolve, and how to manage the transition smoothly.
• Support both early-stage startups and mature brands—tailoring advice to budget, goals, and resources.
• Collaborate with clients remotely to define and clarify their brand identity—values, tone, audience, and visual direction.
• Ensure the brand feels authentic, modern, and flexible enough to grow with the business.
• Create clear documentation, moodboards, or creative briefs that serve as foundations for designers, copywriters, and marketers.

Preferred:

• Wants to grow into roles like Brand Strategist, Creative Director, or Fractional CMO.
• Understands the psychology behind design and language in influencing perception.
• Can audit social presence and make recommendations for brand consistency and engagement.
• Organized in managing multiple branding projects and client timelines from discovery to delivery.
• Understands market research and how to define target personas and tone of voice.
