Description:

We’re looking for a Barista Trainee to join our mobile coffee team — someone who’s flexible, upbeat, and ready to learn the ropes in a fast-paced, on-the-go setting. You’ll start by shadowing experienced baristas, learning how to operate espresso machines, grinders, and other café equipment. You’ll assist with prepping ingredients like syrups, milk, and toppings, keeping everything fresh, stocked, and organized. You’ll be trained to take orders quickly, remember regulars, and make every interaction feel personal, even in a rush. You’ll learn how to balance speed with care, delivering drinks quickly without cutting corners on quality. You’ll support keeping the workspace tidy — wiping counters, washing tools, and helping with dish rotation during rushes. You’ll work with other departments — sometimes greeting HR visitors, handling meeting coffee trays, or prepping drinks for executives on the go. You’ll pitch in on restocking shelves, folding to-go bags, and labeling syrups, pastries, or cold brews. You’ll learn how to prep cold brews, batch lattes, and handle bulk drink orders without compromising quality.

Basic Qualifications:

• Communicate clearly with coworkers to keep the workflow smooth and orders organized.
• Respond to customer feedback—positive or negative—with professionalism and care.
• Clean equipment regularly and report any technical issues to management.
• Stay calm and friendly during busy hours, managing multiple drink orders at once.
• Stay organized during rushes, prioritizing quality without slowing down service.

Preferred:

• Capable of supporting team members and stepping into other roles when necessary for smooth operations.
• Comfortable working early mornings, weekends, and flexible shifts as needed by the café schedule.
• Friendly and engaging with customers, capable of taking orders clearly and offering product recommendations.
• Able to multitask during rushes without compromising service quality or attention to detail.
• Wants to grow into roles like Shift Lead, Head Barista, or Café Manager.

You’ll practice greeting regulars by name and making newcomers feel instantly at home in the space. You’ll help close or open the café depending on the shift — sweeping, counting stock, and prepping for the next day.
