Description:

We’re hiring a Security System Installer Trainee — no experience needed, just a strong work ethic and interest in tech and safety. You’ll ride along with trained techs, visiting homes, offices, warehouses, and retail stores to help install real security systems. Your first tasks will be simple: carrying equipment, organizing tools, and watching how experienced techs work on-site. You’ll assist experienced technicians on real job sites — homes, offices, shops — learning how systems are set up in different environments. We’ll train you to handle sensors, cameras, control panels, and backup systems that silently stand guard 24/7. You’ll learn how to connect hubs, run diagnostics, and update firmware to ensure everything works smoothly. You’ll work in private homes, small offices, and large buildings — each with unique needs and layouts. Expect variety — every site is different, every layout unique, and every client needs a solution that fits them. We’ll show you how to set up alarms, test emergency alerts, and confirm every zone works exactly as planned.

Basic Qualifications:

• Train users on mobile apps and remote monitoring features.
• Stay current with the latest tech in home and commercial security systems.
• Diagnose system errors using testing devices or software.
• Document all work done, including diagrams, serial numbers, and configurations.
• Always double-check connections and configurations before wrapping up a job.

Preferred:

• Experience installing and configuring security systems including CCTV, alarms, access control, and motion detectors.
• Can assist in training clients on emergency response procedures and system features.
• Understands basic electrical wiring, low-voltage circuits, and safe handling of tools and equipment.
• Familiar with configuring security software, mobile apps, or cloud-connected surveillance platforms.
• Wants to grow into roles like Senior Installer, Field Supervisor, or Security Consultant.
