Description:

We’re searching for a Remote Onboarding Specialist who can turn day one jitters into day one excitement. You’ll be responsible for welcoming new employees, setting them up with the tools they need, and making their first days feel smooth and intentional. If you know how to turn a Zoom call into a warm conversation, you’ll thrive here. You’re not just organized — you’re empathetic, knowing how to make someone feel like they belong from the start. ” You’ll build playbooks, record welcome videos, and turn routine info into something people actually want to read. You’ll prepare welcome kits, create helpful onboarding docs, and make sure everyone knows what’s next. Clarity, kindness, and timing will be your superpowers. You’ll track progress across onboarding milestones, send reminders, and celebrate small wins along the way. You’ll keep tabs on multiple onboarding tracks without dropping the ball, thanks to your next-level follow-up skills.

Basic Qualifications:

• Gather feedback from new hires to continuously improve the onboarding experience and reduce confusion or friction.
• Host virtual orientation sessions to walk new hires through company values, tools, communication norms, and key contacts.
• Be proactive—anticipate what new hires might need before they ask and get ahead of potential issues.
• Coordinate welcome kits, branded merch, or shout-outs to make remote hires feel part of the team from day one.
• Support global or remote-first teams by adjusting onboarding flows based on time zones, roles, or contract types.

Preferred:

• Open to improving processes based on feedback and new best practices.
• Excited to welcome new teammates and ensure they start off confident and connected.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• Wants to grow into roles like HR Generalist, Employee Experience Manager, or People Ops.
• Understands the importance of first impressions and a smooth start for new employees.
