Description:
We’re looking for a Remote Onboarding Specialist who thrives on helping people feel prepared, welcomed, and valued from day one. You’ll design onboarding experiences that feel personal, even across screens and time zones. You’ll guide new hires through their first weeks, ensuring they never feel lost, ignored, or overwhelmed. You’re not just organized — you’re empathetic, knowing how to make someone feel like they belong from the start. This role is about empathy, clarity, and smooth communication across time zones and departments. You’re great at sending that one extra follow-up that turns silence into clarity. You’ll refine onboarding materials to make them more intuitive, engaging, and accessible. You’ll track progress across onboarding milestones, send reminders, and celebrate small wins along the way. You’ll keep tabs on multiple onboarding tracks without dropping the ball, thanks to your next-level follow-up skills.
Basic Qualifications:
- Coordinate equipment shipments, account setups, and software permissions (even if you don’t do the IT part, you’ll track it).
- Celebrate new hire milestones—first week, first project, first win—to keep energy and motivation high.
- Gather feedback from new hires to continuously improve the onboarding experience and reduce confusion or friction.
- Collaborate with HR, IT, and team leads to make sure everything is ready before the new hire’s start date.
- Support global or remote-first teams by adjusting onboarding flows based on time zones, roles, or contract types.
Preferred:
- Can coordinate between HR, IT, and team leads to ensure everything is ready on day one.
- Understands the unique needs of remote hires and how to make onboarding engaging.
- Open to improving processes based on feedback and new best practices.
- Has a warm, supportive tone that makes new hires feel valued and prepared.
- Able to answer common questions about company policies, systems, or benefits.
