Description:

We’re looking for a Medical Laboratory Technician trainee who’s ready to learn, grow, and make a quiet but meaningful difference in people’s lives. You may be just starting out, but we’ll treat you like a future professional from day one — with guidance, structure, and respect. Your primary focus will be learning the correct procedures for sample collection support, labeling, storage, and controlled transfer within the laboratory chain of custody. You’ll assist in handling real patient samples — blood, urine, swabs — and learn the importance of accuracy at every stage. You’ll follow protocols to the letter, calibrate equipment daily, and document results with clinical discipline. g. , CLIA, ISO, or local regulations). You’ll be expected to log every step of your workflow, track time precisely, and note anomalies clearly during shadowed procedures. You’ll learn to handle human error, avoid contamination, and recover with confidence when something doesn’t go as planned. Whether you’re running panels, preparing slides, or logging results, you’ll bring the same focus to every task.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Adhere to detailed protocols to avoid cross-contamination, specimen mislabeling, or diagnostic delays.
  • Stay calm and focused during high-pressure situations like outbreaks, lab surges, or critical result processing.
  • Ultimately, help deliver fast, accurate, and reliable lab results that directly impact patient diagnosis and treatment decisions.
  • Perform quality control procedures and calibrations to maintain equipment accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Work rotating shifts, weekends, or holidays as needed in hospital or clinical lab settings that operate 24/7.

Preferred:

  • Willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, or on-call schedules in a 24/7 lab environment.
  • Familiar with laboratory equipment including centrifuges, microscopes, and automated analyzers.
  • Able to manage multiple tests or processes simultaneously without compromising quality.
  • Experience performing routine laboratory tests in areas such as hematology, microbiology, or clinical chemistry.
  • Knowledge of infection control procedures, safety protocols, and proper disposal of hazardous materials.

Benefits:

  • Work in a modern, well-equipped lab where your accuracy directly supports diagnostics and patient care.
  • We believe lab work is essential, not invisible — and we treat our technicians like the professionals they are.
  • Access to advanced analyzers, LIS systems (like Epic Beaker or SoftLab), and automated tools that reduce repetition and increase accuracy.
  • You’ll never be rushed without reason — accuracy always comes before speed.
  • Opportunities to grow into Lead Technician, Quality Control Officer, or Medical Technologist roles.

We’ll show you how to stay calm on busy days, keep your station tidy, and maintain a mindset of quiet confidence under pressure. You’ll grow at your own pace, with encouragement, feedback, and the full support of a team that remembers what it’s like to be new. You won’t be rushed — we’re more interested in helping you build long-term skills than checking boxes. You’ll grow into someone who others can count on — the one who quietly makes sure nothing is missed, spilled, mislabeled, or left incomplete. You’ll gain respect not by knowing everything, but by showing up ready to improve, ask, repeat, and get it right. You may work quietly, but your impact speaks volumes through every result you deliver. If you believe true healthcare starts in the lab, and you’re ready to own your role in it — we want you on our team. You’ll begin as an observer, but you’re expected to grow into a contributor — someone trusted to perform basic procedures to protocol. If you’re ready to build serious technical habits, work under strict standards, and grow in a professional medical lab setting — we’re ready to train you properly.
