Description:

We’re hiring a Security Guard Trainee for a residential complex — ideal for someone who’s polite, observant, and ready to keep tenants feeling safe and supported around the clock. You’ll begin by learning nighttime patrol routines — walking buildings, checking access points, and logging observations every hour. You’ll assist in greeting residents, answering basic questions, and directing deliveries or guests to the right apartments or zones. You’ll be trained to handle intercom systems, surveillance monitors, and electronic keycard access tools. You’ll learn how to write clear, concise reports on minor incidents, daily activity, and any safety concerns. You’ll help maintain a friendly, authoritative presence near food courts, escalators, and store entrances. You’ll learn to interact with retail staff, cleaning teams, and mall management to keep daily operations smooth. You’ll support emergency response procedures, including evacuations, fire protocols, or calling authorities if necessary. You’ll assist in documenting incidents clearly and submitting reports to supervisors in a timely manner.

Basic Qualifications:

• Wear and maintain proper uniform and identification at all times during your shift.
• Support crowd control efforts during events, emergencies, or high-traffic situations.
• Inspect doors, windows, gates, and fences to ensure they’re properly secured.
• Check identification, control entry, and authorize visitors or staff according to site procedures.
• Treat all individuals with respect while upholding rules and regulations without bias.

Preferred:

• Willing to assist in maintaining order during events, deliveries, or shift changes.
• Familiar with handling basic emergencies such as medical issues, fire alarms, or evacuation drills.
• Maintains a professional appearance and respectful attitude when interacting with staff, guests, or the public.
• Background or interest in safety, law enforcement, military, or public service.
• Understands the balance between enforcing rules and maintaining a calm, welcoming presence.
