Description:
We’re looking for a Hotel Front Desk Clerk who knows that every check-in sets the tone for a guest’s entire stay. You’ll be the first smile they see and the last “have a great trip” they hear — and that matters. You’ll manage reservations, room assignments, and check-ins with a balance of efficiency and genuine hospitality. You’ll juggle bookings, keycards, wake-up calls, and last-minute requests with grace and speed. You’ll help guests celebrate honeymoons, survive business trips, or just catch a good night’s sleep. You’ll help guests feel less like they’re staying at a hotel and more like they’re being welcomed home. You’ll communicate clearly and kindly, both in person and over the phone, solving problems with grace. , you’ve got it covered. You’ll use our booking system to manage reservations, update guest profiles, and keep everything accurate. You’ll listen more than you speak, notice what others miss, and offer help before guests even ask. You’ll remain calm and composed even when dealing with long lines, noisy guests, or last-minute changes.
Basic Qualifications:
- Use booking platforms (e.g., Booking.com, Expedia, Airbnb) and POS systems with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Stay calm under pressure during peak hours, special events, or guest escalations—always aiming to solve problems with grace.
- Assist in generating and reviewing shift reports, night audits, and occupancy stats when needed.
- Maintain guest privacy and follow all data protection and confidentiality standards.
- Greet guests with a warm, professional attitude as they arrive—checking them in efficiently and confirming reservation details.
Preferred:
- Comfortable managing busy periods with professionalism and calm multitasking.
- Understands how to resolve guest concerns or escalate issues to management as needed.
- Able to check guests in and out efficiently while handling payments and documentation.
- Wants to grow into roles like Front Office Supervisor, Guest Services Manager, or Hotel Manager.
- Can collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and management for smooth operations.
