Description:

We’re offering a Sales Assistant Traineeship for someone who’s ready to step into the world of retail — no prior experience needed, just enthusiasm, reliability, and a people-first mindset. You’ll start by observing how team members greet customers, answer questions, and recommend products that fit real needs. You’ll get hands-on experience with basic store tasks like restocking shelves, folding merchandise, and organizing displays. You’ll learn how to restock shelves, tidy displays, and make sure everything is clean, organized, and easy to find. You’ll be taught how to listen actively, read customer needs, and offer recommendations that genuinely help — not just sell. We’ll teach you how to approach upselling ethically — offering relevant suggestions without being pushy. You’ll learn how to stay focused, calm, and helpful — even during peak hours or busy weekends. You’ll be part of team meetings, where you'll learn how promotions, seasonal products, and store strategy are communicated. You’ll learn how to prioritize during busy periods and how to stay productive during quiet ones.

Basic Qualifications:

• Respond calmly to customer complaints and escalate issues when necessary.
• Tag, fold, or hang merchandise so everything looks presentation-ready.
• Participate in in-store events or promotions by helping with setup and customer engagement.
• Help unpack and organize new stock deliveries in a timely and accurate manner.
• Offer personalized recommendations based on customer preferences and current trends.

Preferred:

• Willing to assist with restocking, unpacking deliveries, and organizing shelves.
• Background or interest in retail, fashion, electronics, home goods, or specialty sales.
• Open to upselling, cross-selling, and promoting new arrivals or featured products.
• Able to multitask during busy periods, especially weekends or sales events.
• Organized with handling receipts, gift wrapping, or preparing customer orders for pickup or delivery.
