Description:

We’re hiring a Financial Analyst Trainee to help us understand the story behind the numbers — no experience required, just strong analytical thinking, curiosity, and a willingness to grow. You’ll help track financial performance, review expenses, and ensure reporting accuracy across multiple teams. We’ll teach you how to build and maintain financial models that support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning. You’ll learn to create reports that balance detail with clarity — built to help people act, not just read. Expect to build models that simulate different business outcomes and support “what if” decision-making. We’ll walk you through cash flow management, scenario modeling, and how to evaluate business performance using financial ratios. We’ll introduce you to Excel, Power BI, and other tools used for modeling, data visualization, and reporting. We’ll guide you through revenue modeling, cash flow basics, and how businesses manage financial risk. You’ll help update KPI reports, organize financial data, and check that everything adds up before review meetings. You’ll also learn how to document assumptions, keep models organized, and spot red flags in raw financial reports.

Basic Qualifications:

• Support quarterly and annual financial reporting, audits, and compliance processes.
• Break down complex data into digestible formats for non-finance teams.
• Balance precision with speed—sometimes a 90% answer today beats 100% next week.
• Support cost-cutting initiatives and efficiency improvements with clear financial reasoning.
• Help streamline reporting processes by building templates or automating workflows.

Preferred:

• Comfortable with recurring tasks such as closing entries, reconciliations, and accrual reviews.
• Understands the fundamentals of capital budgeting, working capital, and liquidity management.
• Comfortable using financial software such as Bloomberg, Power BI, QuickBooks, or ERP systems like SAP.
• Can support due diligence, risk analysis, and market research for strategic planning.
• Comfortable supporting investment decisions, cost analysis, or product pricing strategies.
