Description:

We’re hiring an Architect Trainee who’s excited to bring ideas to life through structure, space, and purpose — no experience required, just a drive to learn and a love for thoughtful design. You’ll assist with drafting layouts, preparing site plans, and translating sketches into clean architectural drawings. We’ll teach you how to translate vision into visuals — from bubble diagrams to digital renders and physical models. You’ll collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers to solve layout challenges and refine user flow. Expect to work with design tools like Rhino, Revit, AutoCAD, and Photoshop — we’ll support your learning every step of the way. Expect to sit in on design reviews and learn how architects respond to real feedback from clients, engineers, and users. We’ll guide you through the process of developing 2D layouts into detailed 3D visualizations. You’ll help prepare mood boards, material palettes, and architectural diagrams for review. You’ll help research local codes, green building standards, and accessibility requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

• Reflect on past designs to improve future work—every project is a teacher.
• Oversee bidding and contractor selection if you're involved in that phase.
• Create detailed blueprints, models, and renderings using CAD software like AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp.
• Research materials, construction techniques, and environmental solutions to inform better design choices.
• Balance innovation with constraints like cost, space, and environmental impact.

Preferred:

• Keeps up with architectural trends, technologies, and sustainability standards like LEED or BREEAM.
• Wants to grow into roles like Lead Architect, Design Director, or Urban Strategist.
