Description:

We’re looking for a Pharmacist who’s equal parts science nerd, people person, and cool under pressure. You’ll be the trusted voice behind the counter — answering questions, easing concerns, and making sure every medication is right for every person. You’ll check every script with laser focus and catch interactions before they become problems. You’ll verify prescriptions with care, catch potential interactions, and make decisions that protect lives, quietly and consistently. You’ll work closely with doctors, nurses, and caregivers — translating complex regimens into real-world routines. You’ll keep workflows tight, systems clean, and inventory in check without breaking a sweat. You’ll stay calm under pressure, especially when things get busy or a patient needs urgent care. You’ll prepare, dispense, and verify medications with focus and clinical integrity — because every dose matters. You’ll help people navigate side effects, insurance confusion, and late-night questions with empathy and patience.

Basic Qualifications:

• Ensure full compliance with legal and regulatory guidelines (e.g., FDA, DEA, local pharmacy boards) including controlled substance protocols.
• Handle emergency prescriptions and prioritize high-risk patients during peak hours with professionalism and urgency.
• Administer vaccinations, such as flu or COVID-19, in accordance with licensing and state-level authorization where applicable.
• Ensure a clean, organized, and secure work environment—adhering to infection control and safety policies.
• Educate patients on over-the-counter medications, vitamins, and medical devices, helping them make informed decisions.

Preferred:

• Thorough understanding of drug interactions, contraindications, and proper dosage protocols.
• Understands the importance of HIPAA compliance and protecting patient confidentiality.
• Experience dispensing prescriptions, verifying accuracy, and counseling patients on medication use.
• Values patient safety, precision, and evidence-based guidance above all.
• Can handle controlled substances responsibly in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
