Description:

We’re looking for a proactive Email Marketing Assistant to join our team and assist with creating, managing, and optimizing email campaigns. You’ll be responsible for drafting, scheduling, and sending marketing emails to promote products, services, and brand content. You’ll assist with designing email templates, ensuring they are visually appealing, responsive, and optimized for all devices. You’ll assist in building segmented email lists, targeting specific customer groups with personalized messaging. You’ll track and report on email performance, analyzing open rates, click-through rates, and conversions to improve future campaigns. You’ll collaborate with the design team to ensure email templates are mobile-friendly and visually consistent across devices. You’ll work with email marketing tools and automation systems to set up and maintain automated email workflows.

Basic Qualifications:

• Document and maintain SOPs for recurring email tasks, templates, and tagging conventions.
• Coordinate with the customer support team to ensure responses to email replies are timely and helpful.
• Balance speed with accuracy—emails move fast, but every click depends on getting it right.
• Help brainstorm content ideas for newsletters, promotions, or educational emails that add value beyond selling.
• Support lead generation efforts by integrating forms and pop-ups across websites or landing pages.

Preferred:

• Organized with content calendars, deadlines, and task tracking across multiple campaigns.
• Able to follow brand voice and tone guidelines when writing or editing email content.
• Open to learning how to build drip campaigns and behavior-based automations.
• Background or interest in marketing, digital communication, e-commerce, or copywriting.
• Understands the basics of GDPR compliance and permission-based email marketing.

You’ll assist with troubleshooting any issues related to email delivery, ensuring messages are properly formatted and reach the inbox. You’ll help create reports on the performance of email campaigns, suggesting areas for improvement based on data analysis. You’ll provide insights on how to improve email marketing performance based on analytics and feedback from recipients.
