Description:

We’re hiring an Industrial Painter to apply protective coatings to metal, concrete, and machinery — perfect for someone who’s safety-conscious, physically strong, and precise with tools and technique. You’ll prepare surfaces by sanding, scraping, patching, and priming to ensure smooth, long-lasting coverage. You’ll work on ladders, scaffolding, or suspended platforms, always following safety procedures for height and fall protection. You’ll operate sprayers, rollers, or brushes to apply coatings according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards. You’ll help match colors to design plans or coordinate with the general contractor on changes and substitutions. You’ll help mix paint to match specified colors and maintain consistency across large surfaces and multi-day projects. You’ll mix pigments, glazes, and plasters to match color samples and blend seamlessly between areas. You’ll help mask windows, fixtures, signage, and landscaping before spray applications or splatter-prone techniques. You’ll be expected to complete daily job logs, report material usage, and communicate progress to supervisors.

Basic Qualifications:

• Clean tools and work areas thoroughly after each job to maintain professional standards.
• Estimate time, materials, and labor for upcoming jobs and communicate with clients or team leads.
• Take direction well and also work independently when assigned solo tasks.
• Mix and match paints to achieve specific colors or finishes based on project requirements.
• Work on both interior and exterior painting projects across residential, commercial, or industrial sites.

Preferred:

• Capable of reading blueprints, work orders, or verbal instructions to follow job requirements accurately.
• Thrives in active, hands-on work environments where precision and pride in work are essential.
• Proficient in using brushes, rollers, and spray guns for smooth, even finishes on various surfaces.
• Pays strong attention to detail to ensure clean lines, even coverage, and minimal drips or streaks.
• Familiar with preparing surfaces through sanding, scraping, patching, priming, or power washing.

You’ll be trained in proper PPE use, respirator care, and handling of solvents and exterior-grade materials. You’ll help clean brushes, rollers, trays, and workspaces at the end of each shift, leaving the site tidy and professional. You’ll be expected to keep your work neat, tools clean, and supplies organized throughout each project. You’ll be expected to complete daily check-ins, log completed surfaces, and report any structural concerns you observe. You’ll be expected to follow lockout/tagout procedures and understand MSDS sheets for all materials used. You’ll represent the company with professionalism and discretion while working in luxury environments. Experience is helpful but not required — we’ll train those with the strength, balance, and focus to work safely at height.
