Description:

We’re looking for an experienced Translation Specialist to help ensure that our content reaches a global audience in multiple languages. You’ll be responsible for translating documents, websites, and marketing materials while maintaining the integrity of the original message. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to ensure all translations meet client requirements and are aligned with their brand voice. You’ll work on translating documents, websites, marketing materials, and more, ensuring that the original meaning is preserved. You’ll manage and prioritize multiple translation projects, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining high quality. You’ll use translation software and tools to increase efficiency while maintaining a high level of quality and consistency. You’ll use translation tools and software to maintain consistency and improve efficiency across projects. You’ll be responsible for managing multiple translation projects, ensuring they are completed on time and meet client expectations.

Basic Qualifications:

• Ultimately, act as a language bridge—making sure that meaning travels across borders without getting lost in translation.
• Translate written content accurately from one language to another, ensuring meaning, tone, and cultural nuance are preserved.
• Respect deadlines and deliver high-quality translations on time, even under tight turnaround conditions.
• Proofread and edit translations for grammar, flow, and consistency—delivering polished, professional results.
• Track projects, versions, and feedback using spreadsheets, Trello, or translation platforms for organized delivery.

Preferred:

• Knows how to prioritize meaning and readability over literal translation when appropriate.
• Willing to follow style guides and formatting instructions for consistency.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment and receiving feedback from editors.
• Familiar with CAT tools like SDL Trados, Smartcat, or Memsource is a plus.
• Can adapt translation style depending on content type — legal, medical, technical, or marketing.
