Description:

We’re hiring a Photographer / Videographer Trainee to help capture live events — from weddings and ceremonies to brand launches and behind-the-scenes moments — no experience needed, just focus and passion. You’ll work alongside experienced creatives on shoots for brands, influencers, campaigns, and lookbooks. We’ll teach you how to work quietly, move intentionally, and catch candid shots without disrupting the flow. Expect to help on-location and in-studio: adjusting tripods, setting up lights, directing talent, and capturing a mix of posed and candid moments. Expect to help film people talking calmly, reflecting, working, moving slowly, and being fully themselves on camera. We’ll guide you in capturing both horizontal and vertical formats, knowing when to shoot B-roll, and understanding what content works best where. You’ll learn how to blend documentary with beauty: capturing what’s real, but making it shine. You’ll also assist with interviews, helping set up lights, adjust framing, test audio, and create a safe space for vulnerability. tight shots, telling a visual story, and creating content that feels like a memory, not a postcard.

Basic Qualifications:

• Balance creative vision with client goals, timelines, and budgets.
• Deliver assets in various formats and resolutions depending on platform (web, print, social).
• Direct talent or subjects during shoots to create natural, compelling results.
• Capture behind-the-scenes moments when relevant for additional content value.
• Color-correct, sound-balance, and add motion or graphic elements when needed.

Preferred:

• Understands the technical limitations and creative opportunities of mobile vs. professional gear.
• Willing to shoot behind-the-scenes content or short reels for promotional use.
• Able to deliver final media in appropriate formats and aspect ratios for social media, web, or print.
• Comfortable directing subjects during shoots to achieve natural, high-quality results.
• Thrives in field-based, dynamic environments where every shoot brings new challenges.
