Description:

We’re searching for a WordPress Assistant who can juggle plugins, tweak themes, and keep content looking sharp without missing a beat. You don’t need to be a developer, but you know how to handle the day-to-day WordPress tasks that keep a site running smoothly — from updating text and images to installing plugins and adjusting page layouts with a visual builder. You’ve likely worked with Elementor, Gutenberg, Divi, or WPBakery, and you understand how to build or edit pages without breaking anything. You’re comfortable handling basic customizations with HTML and CSS, and you’re not afraid to dive into a plugin’s settings to get things just right. You know the importance of clean formatting, image optimization, and mobile responsiveness, and you have a good eye for catching small mistakes that others miss. Maybe you’ve optimized a few pages for SEO, resized a lot of images, or even cleaned up a theme that had way too many unnecessary features.

Basic Qualifications:

• Use staging environments to test updates or new features before applying them to production.
• Support eCommerce setups (WooCommerce) by managing products, inventory, or simple plugin settings.
• Help upload content (blogs, images, product listings) while formatting it to match the site's design and SEO standards.
• Communicate with hosting providers or domain registrars when needed to resolve issues or adjust settings.
• Support SEO efforts by optimizing on-page elements like alt text, meta descriptions, permalinks, and heading structure.

Preferred:

• Familiarity with popular page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg.
• Familiar with simple HTML/CSS edits or willing to learn through guided tasks.
• Knows how to back up a site or create staging environments with plugins like UpdraftPlus or WP Staging.
• Open to learning advanced tools like ACF, CPT UI, or multilingual plugins.
• Understands how to manage media files, categories, tags, and menus.
