Description:

We’re hiring a UX/UI Designer Trainee to help build and maintain design systems — no experience needed, just precision, structure, and an eye for consistency. You’ll work inside real startups and MVP projects where screens go live quickly and feedback comes just as fast. We’ll teach you how to build layouts that guide the eye — hero, value props, testimonials, CTAs, and footers that actually work together. You’ll start by helping clean up files, organize typography, align spacing, and unify components that feel disconnected. Expect to work on desktop and mobile versions side by side, learning how responsiveness changes design decisions. We’ll guide you through platform-specific principles — iOS vs Android, native vs hybrid — and what matters where. You’ll also work with designers, writers, and marketers to keep each section clean, punchy, and user-focused. You’ll learn the difference between visual flair and visual purpose — and when to push or simplify. We’ll help you understand how scalable design helps companies grow fast without losing visual quality or UX logic.

Basic Qualifications:

• Keep accessibility top of mind, from color contrast to keyboard navigation.
• Pair with developers during implementation to catch edge cases or design bugs early.
• Stay up to date with design trends but only apply what actually improves the experience.
• Prototype interactions that let stakeholders experience the product before it’s built.
• Balance business needs with user needs—it’s not always easy, but you’ll make the call.

Preferred:

• Understands user-centered design principles and can apply them to web, mobile, or software products.
• Willing to receive and incorporate design critiques to refine and improve work quality.
• Proficient in design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch with experience creating user interfaces and interactive prototypes.
• Able to create wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups that align with business goals and user needs.
• Comfortable conducting usability tests and iterating designs based on feedback and analytics.
