Description:
We’re offering a Financial Analyst Trainee role for someone who’s ready to turn curiosity and numbers into business impact — no prior experience needed, just discipline, logic, and a willingness to learn. You’ll support financial reviews by gathering data, cleaning spreadsheets, and preparing summary insights for stakeholders. We’ll teach you how to spot trends, calculate margins, and understand what drives profitability in a company. You’ll learn how to break down data into usable insights and make sense of large spreadsheets and raw numbers. Expect to support month-end closings, variance analysis, and presentations for senior decision-makers. We’ll walk you through cash flow management, scenario modeling, and how to evaluate business performance using financial ratios. We’ll introduce you to Excel, Power BI, and other tools used for modeling, data visualization, and reporting. You’ll gain an understanding of how financial decisions affect operations, growth, and long-term company goals. You’ll help update KPI reports, organize financial data, and check that everything adds up before review meetings. You’ll collaborate with accounting, operations, and strategy teams to gather data and verify assumptions.
Basic Qualifications:
- Collaborate with accounting, marketing, and operations to ensure financial alignment across the company.
- Build financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and profitability across different scenarios.
- Contribute to strategic planning by modeling long-term financial scenarios and business plans.
- Handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality and integrity.
- Identify red flags early by reviewing cash flow, burn rate, or debt ratios regularly.
Preferred:
- Wants to grow into roles like Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A Manager, or Finance Business Partner.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a background in finance, economics, accounting, or business.
- Background or interest in corporate finance, investment analysis, consulting, or fintech.
- Familiar with creating and analyzing financial statements including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
- Open to working with SQL, Python, or Excel macros to automate and streamline financial tasks.
Benefits:
- Managers who understand modeling takes time — we value precision over panic.
- Support for CFA, CPA, or MBA — with exam reimbursement and dedicated study days.
- Health, dental, vision, 401(k) or pension — because financial wellness starts with you.
- No guesswork — your analysis helps leaders make confident, data-driven decisions.
- Clear business context for every request — no “just run the numbers” ambiguity.
You’ll participate in monthly close processes, helping prepare accurate reports that inform executives. We’ll walk you through quarterly forecast updates and how to compare results against previous cycles. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys solving business puzzles, organizing data, and thinking critically about outcomes. You’ll develop a habit of asking questions like “why did this change? We’ll support you with mentorship, honest feedback, and real deliverables that sharpen your skills. By the end of the program, you’ll understand how great financial analysts add value to every corner of the business. If you’re ready to learn how financial analysis drives growth — we’re ready to help you take the first step. By the end of your traineeship, you’ll have a deeper understanding of how businesses grow — and how financial insights help them do it smarter. If you’re ready to move from theory to impact — and help turn financial clarity into confident action — this is your starting point.
