Description:

We’re hiring a Plumber Trainee to assist on new construction projects — ideal for someone who’s organized, proactive, and ready to learn how modern plumbing systems are built from the ground up. You’ll begin by learning how to service and install boilers, radiators, circulation pumps, and thermostat controls. You’ll assist with draining systems, flushing lines, and bleeding radiators to remove air and ensure even heating. You’ll be trained to replace flexible hoses, traps, washers, cartridges, and other small parts quickly and cleanly. You’ll help install expansion tanks, pressure relief valves, and other key components that ensure safe system function. You’ll observe how to read blueprints, locate shut-off valves, and plan pipe routes in new or existing structures. You’ll assist with pipe patching, replacing fittings, and cleaning up work zones in homes, businesses, or apartment buildings. You’ll assist in installing underfloor heating, wall-mounted panels, or baseboard units in both residential and commercial spaces. You’ll assist in working within service rooms, crawlspaces, and vertical shafts to maintain central plumbing infrastructure.

Basic Qualifications:

• Respond to emergency service calls for burst pipes, blocked drains, or gas leaks with urgency and care.
• Cut, assemble, and seal pipe sections using welding, soldering, or press-fit techniques.
• Maintain detailed records of services performed, parts used, and hours worked.
• Stay current with plumbing technologies, eco-friendly systems, and efficient fixtures.
• Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and water heaters.

Preferred:

• Can adapt to residential renovations, new construction sites, or facility maintenance roles.
• Wants to grow into roles like Master Plumber, Project Foreman, or Plumbing Business Owner.
• Thrives in active, tool-based environments where every project presents a new challenge.
• Enjoys solving real-world problems with practical solutions and skilled craftsmanship.
• Open to using mobile apps, digital invoicing, or plumbing CRM tools for job tracking.
