Description:

We’re hiring a Cook who enjoys working in a small, close-knit kitchen — someone who’s flexible, friendly, and takes pride in turning simple ingredients into great meals. You’ll prep ingredients, follow recipes, and execute dishes that are consistent, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You’ll work clean and stay organized, keeping your station stocked, sanitized, and ready for action at all times. You’ll keep your station clean, ingredients fresh, and workflow efficient no matter how busy it gets. You’ll respect every product — from the first chopped onion to the last garnish on the pass — because details matter. You’ll learn how to handle knives safely, follow recipes closely, and understand timing in a working kitchen. Some days might be fast-paced and hectic, but that’s where teamwork matters most. You’ll check temps, label containers, and uphold the highest food safety and sanitation practices. You’ll follow kitchen systems while also bringing initiative — refilling, cleaning, and jumping in wherever needed.

Basic Qualifications:

• Be punctual and reliable—your presence is essential to the kitchen running smoothly.
• Support team members across stations and step in wherever help is needed during peak times.
• Communicate clearly with servers, hosts, or managers when delays or issues arise.
• Taste and adjust seasoning or texture as needed to maintain quality standards.
• Train junior kitchen staff or dishwashers in prep, cleaning, or basic cooking tasks.

Preferred:

• Comfortable multitasking across prep, cooking, and cleanup responsibilities.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment under pressure during busy hours.
• Able to follow instructions from the head chef or kitchen manager and contribute to team efficiency.
• Values precision, consistency, and passion in cooking for others.
• Enjoys working with fresh ingredients and delivering high-quality meals.

You’ll help open or close the kitchen depending on your shift — wiping down, counting stock, and leaving things ready for the next cook.
