We’re hiring a Radiologic Technologist Trainee for a small but vital hospital where every role matters and every patient is a neighbor. No experience? We’ll show you how to position patients correctly, adjust settings for optimal clarity, and work quickly without sacrificing precision. You’ll assist in preparing rooms, setting up machines, and guiding patients through the process with clarity and calm. Expect to assist in everything from routine chest X-rays to urgent trauma imaging, sometimes all in one shift. You’ll start with shadowing and hands-on practice in low-pressure settings until you’re ready to take the lead on simple exams. We’ll teach you the clinical skills — radiation safety, image capture, equipment handling — all while reminding you that kindness matters just as much. You’ll be trained to think fast, move carefully, and work calmly under pressure while staying attentive to each patient’s condition. Every patient is different — and you’ll learn how to adapt to body types, injuries, mobility levels, and emotions.

Basic Qualifications:

• Double-check imaging orders to confirm the correct body part and procedure before scanning.
• Adapt to different patient needs—elderly, children, pregnant women—with special care.
• Calm nervous patients—especially children or those in pain—by being patient and reassuring.
• Keep your workspace organized and ready for unexpected urgent cases.
• Provide input to improve imaging protocols, patient comfort, or workflow efficiency.

Preferred:

• Values accuracy, patient care, and teamwork in a clinical setting.
• Familiar with performing chest, extremity, spine, and abdominal X-rays under physician direction.
• Background or degree in radiologic technology, diagnostic imaging, or medical sciences.
• Able to adapt quickly to workflow changes, patient needs, and time-sensitive imaging requests.
• Experience operating radiographic equipment in hospital, outpatient, or diagnostic lab settings.
