We’re seeking a Freelance Blog Writer who has a way with words — someone who can turn a simple idea into a story readers actually want to finish. You know how to blend creativity with clarity, crafting blog posts that educate, inspire, or persuade depending on the goal. From SEO-optimized articles to in-depth editorial pieces, you can shift tones, adapt styles, and still maintain a clear, engaging voice throughout. You understand the role content plays in brand building and SEO, and you know how to strike that perfect balance between optimized and organic. You’re comfortable writing for different tones — from casual and witty to formal and authoritative — and can adjust your voice to suit the brand or audience. You’re reliable, deadline-driven, and open to feedback without taking it personally. You know how to structure a blog post for the web: strong intro, punchy subheadings, smart links, and calls-to-action that feel natural, not salesy.

Basic Qualifications:

• Optimize posts for readability and SEO—using proper headings, meta descriptions, internal links, and keywords.
• Submit polished drafts by deadline and revise quickly based on editor or client feedback.
• Manage multiple assignments at once and communicate proactively if delays or blockers arise.
• Join occasional team calls or async discussions to align with editors, marketers, or SEO leads.
• Maintain your own tools and workspace as a freelancer, ensuring reliable output and file management.

Preferred:

• Aware of plagiarism concerns and committed to original, high-quality writing.
• Experience using writing tools like Grammarly, Hemingway, or Notion.
• Comfortable receiving and incorporating editorial feedback or style changes.
• Experience writing blog articles for websites, brands, or personal projects.
• Open to writing across industries such as tech, wellness, finance, or lifestyle.
