Description:
We’re hiring an Online Community Support specialist who knows how to make digital spaces feel alive, welcoming, and well cared for. You’ll be the steady, positive presence that keeps our digital spaces running smoothly and feeling human. Your day-to-day will include welcoming new members, responding to questions, moderating discussions, and creating small moments of connection that build long-term loyalty. You’ll monitor activity across platforms like Discord, Slack, Facebook Groups, or our own forums — answering questions, resolving issues, and guiding discussions when they drift off course. You’ll work closely with marketing, support, and product teams to surface feedback, flag recurring issues, and share insights on what people are loving (or not). Whether it’s managing a live event, posting announcements, or responding to DMs, you’ll bring a personal, human tone to every interaction.
Basic Qualifications:
- Collect feedback and ideas from community members and surface them internally to the product or leadership team.
- Be the bridge between the brand and its people—always human, always helpful.
- Work with the content or marketing team to amplify product news, features, and announcements in a community-friendly voice.
- Support power users and advocates by giving them tools or early info to help them help others.
- Keep tabs on community sentiment—what people love, what annoys them, what they’re confused about.
Preferred:
- Interested in building inclusive, respectful, and diverse digital spaces.
- Knows how to escalate technical or sensitive issues to the right internal team.
- Pays attention to recurring questions and helps improve FAQs or knowledge bases.
- Open to learning about community health metrics, engagement strategies, and user lifecycle.
