Description:

We’re looking for a Nurse who builds trust over time — someone who provides not just care, but presence, consistency, and dignity for patients who need ongoing support. You’ll provide direct patient care including vital sign monitoring, medication administration, and wound management. You’ll collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to create and follow treatment plans. You’ll monitor vitals, interpret symptoms, and escalate issues when something feels off — even if the numbers don’t say it yet. You’ll be a key communicator with family members, helping them stay informed and involved in the care process. You’ll prepare patients for tests, provide pre- and post-op support, and make sure they understand what’s happening and why. You’ll also support junior staff, nursing assistants, and new team members by sharing knowledge and keeping workflows smooth. You’ll document care in real time, with attention to detail and a clear understanding of legal and procedural requirements. You’ll handle families with grace — providing updates, reassurance, and clear communication even under pressure.

Basic Qualifications:

• Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients from all backgrounds and walks of life.
• Assist with diagnostic tests and interpret results to help guide next steps.
• Respond calmly and efficiently in emergencies—whether it’s CPR, trauma, or sudden deterioration.
• Update care plans as patients improve, decline, or change diagnoses.
• Provide compassionate, hands-on care while maintaining professional boundaries.

Preferred:

• Experience providing direct patient care in clinical, hospital, or long-term care settings.
• Familiar with EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, or Meditech for digital documentation.
• Able to manage physical demands of nursing such as lifting, standing, and extended shifts.
• Open to rotating shifts, weekend hours, or on-call duties depending on unit needs.
• Thrives in caring, high-responsibility environments where each action makes a difference.
