Description:
We’re hiring a Security Guard Trainee to join our event safety team — ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and wants to help keep concerts, festivals, and public gatherings safe and organized. You’ll begin by assisting with entry point monitoring — checking tickets, wristbands, and personal belongings according to event policy. You’ll be trained to monitor surveillance systems in low-traffic periods, watching for suspicious movement or activity after hours. You’ll assist in checking security cameras, reporting maintenance issues, and helping prevent theft or vandalism. You’ll support lost-and-found services, helping reunite customers with lost belongings or assisting distressed visitors. You’ll help maintain a friendly, authoritative presence near food courts, escalators, and store entrances. You’ll learn to interact with retail staff, cleaning teams, and mall management to keep daily operations smooth. You’ll assist in crowd control, helping maintain order during events, busy periods, or emergencies. You’ll receive instruction on fire alarm procedures, evacuation protocols, and how to guide residents safely in emergencies.
Basic Qualifications:
- Escort employees, visitors, or deliveries to and from buildings when security is requested.
- Remain composed and professional under pressure or during conflict situations.
- Deter theft, vandalism, or unsafe behavior through a visible and professional presence.
- Perform bag checks, vehicle inspections, or ID verification when assigned to high-security areas.
- Enforce company policies regarding restricted areas, visitor conduct, or safety regulations.
Preferred:
- Willing to perform bag checks, perimeter rounds, or alarm system checks if required.
- Comfortable with static posts (e.g., entrances) or active patrolling roles depending on assignment.
- Understands basic conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques.
- Willing to assist in maintaining order during events, deliveries, or shift changes.
- Organized with shift handovers, key logs, visitor logs, and equipment tracking.
Benefits:
- Structured shifts with clear expectations — no surprises, no drama.
- Respect from staff and management — we see you, not just your uniform.
- Your judgment is trusted — we believe in your instincts and decisions.
- Recognition for reliability — showing up matters here.
- Rest areas, warm coffee, and places to reset during long shifts.
You’ll help check that doors, gates, and perimeter fencing are properly locked at night or during quiet hours. You’ll receive instruction on de-escalation techniques and when to involve law enforcement or emergency services. You’ll gain experience supporting a secure but welcoming atmosphere where residents feel both seen and protected. You’ll work closely with early-morning staff during shift handovers, ensuring clear communication and smooth transitions. You’ll receive mentorship and regular check-ins from supervisors, especially while adjusting to overnight responsibilities. No experience is required — just energy, professionalism, and the ability to stay cool under pressure. This internship is perfect for someone interested in event management, public safety, or crowd control. We value presence, discipline, and clear thinking — and we’ll teach you how to combine them into daily routines. If you’re ready to protect people, enforce rules calmly, and become a trusted presence, we’re ready to train you.
