Description:

We’re hiring a Freelance Resume Writer who can take an ordinary work history and turn it into a powerful personal brand. You’ll collaborate with job seekers across different industries, helping them tell their story in a way that resonates with recruiters. You’ll work directly with clients to understand their experience, strengths, and goals. You’ll take raw input — sometimes voice notes, old resumes, or scattered thoughts — and build clean, strategic documents from scratch. We’re looking for someone who can adapt their tone and structure depending on the client’s industry and goals. Whether it’s an entry-level graduate or a seasoned executive, you’ll know how to make their strengths shine. You’ll take messy drafts, scattered notes, or LinkedIn profiles and turn them into polished, professional resumes. You’ll manage your own schedule and clients, delivering polished resumes within agreed timelines. You’ll offer guidance on structure, keywords, layout, and language that helps resumes stand out in the pile.

Basic Qualifications:

• Refine your tone to match the role—from formal for C-level, to dynamic for creatives, to punchy for startups.
• Provide honest but constructive feedback when client expectations don’t match best practices or realities of the job market.
• Offer packages or upsells (e.g., resume + LinkedIn bundle) to support clients beyond just one document.
• Be flexible—some clients need hand-holding, others just want polish. Meet them where they are.
• Collaborate with clients to define a strong personal brand, refining tone and positioning across resume and related docs.

Preferred:

• Interested in long-term freelance work or growing into a personal branding specialist.
• Experience creating or refining resumes across various industries and job levels.
• Capable of adapting writing style to match tone — professional, creative, or executive.
• Knows how to write resumes for freelancers, career changers, and recent graduates.
• Wants to help people tell their career story in a strategic and confident way.
