We’re looking for a Freelance Blog Writer who doesn’t just write for word count — you write to connect, clarify, and captivate. You’re someone who can take a topic (even a boring one) and turn it into something engaging, useful, and maybe even a little fun. Whether it’s a deep-dive explainer, a product-driven article, or a light, conversational listicle, you know how to strike the right tone and keep the reader engaged. You’ll work independently but collaborate when needed, asking smart questions and bringing ideas to the table. You’re comfortable working with content briefs — but also confident enough to pitch your own angles and fresh takes. Your writing voice is flexible, but always clear and human. You know how to structure a blog post for the web: strong intro, punchy subheadings, smart links, and calls-to-action that feel natural, not salesy.

Basic Qualifications:

• Pitch fresh article ideas regularly based on trends, SEO opportunities, or gaps in existing content.
• Use tools like Grammarly, Hemingway, or SurferSEO to ensure clarity, tone, and keyword performance.
• Work with content managers to align on goals, outlines, and formatting preferences before writing begins.
• Submit polished drafts by deadline and revise quickly based on editor or client feedback.
• Keep an organized archive of drafts, revisions, and published links for easy reference.

Preferred:

• Knows how to write content tailored to specific audiences or niches.
• Comfortable receiving and incorporating editorial feedback or style changes.
• Pays attention to formatting details, readability, and mobile-friendly structure.
• Enjoys learning about new topics and simplifying them for a broad audience.
• Experience using writing tools like Grammarly, Hemingway, or Notion.
