Description:

We’re hiring a Caregiver to provide daily support to elderly clients — ideal for someone who values patience, dignity, and helping seniors maintain independence and comfort at home. You’ll assist clients with everyday tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility, always with sensitivity and respect for their independence. You’ll help manage comfort through medication reminders, touch-based reassurance, and nonverbal communication techniques. You’ll support play, learning, and engagement through structured games, routines, or creative exploration depending on the child’s interests. You’ll perform quiet household tasks like laundry, light cleaning, and preparation for the next day’s routine. You’ll support household tasks like vacuuming, laundry, and tidying to create a peaceful, clean space. You’ll provide steady companionship through listening, reminiscing, watching TV together, or reading aloud. You’ll monitor signs of fatigue, overstimulation, or discomfort, adapting the environment or pace as needed. You’ll assist during medical appointments, therapy sessions, or errands by offering support and clear communication.

Basic Qualifications:

• Ensure a safe living environment by preventing falls, hazards, or medication mismanagement.
• Track activities, meals, mood, and care tasks in logs if required by family or agency.
• Offer emotional support during times of loneliness, grief, or cognitive decline.
• Go the extra mile, whether that’s remembering a favorite meal or just sitting and listening.
• Create a comforting routine that brings stability and peace to the person in your care.

Preferred:

• Experience providing personal care, companionship, or assistance with daily living activities for seniors, individuals with disabilities, or patients recovering from illness.
• Comfortable reminding clients to take medication and observing for changes in physical or emotional well-being.
• Can support individuals with dementia, limited mobility, or chronic conditions with patience and attentiveness.
• Thrives in nurturing, client-centered environments where patience and care make a real difference.
• Pays close attention to hygiene, skin care, and dietary needs based on client routines or medical recommendations.
