Description:
We’re looking for a Reception Manager who brings warmth, professionalism, and leadership to the front desk. You’ll be the warm, composed, and highly capable presence that anchors the flow of our entire workspace. Your presence sets the tone for the entire office — calm, organized, and in control. You’ll manage a team of receptionists and ensure the front-of-house runs like a well-oiled machine. You’ll manage schedules, delegate daily responsibilities, and make sure front-of-house operations run like clockwork. When the unexpected happens — a no-show, a last-minute VIP guest, or a power outage — you’re already on Plan B. You’re the person who can notice a flickering lightbulb, a nervous guest, and an off-schedule meeting — and handle it all without breaking stride. You’ll monitor appearance standards, response times, and overall customer service quality. You’ll handle escalations with poise, finding solutions quickly and keeping guests satisfied.
Basic Qualifications:
- Prepare weekly schedules, handle time-off requests, and ensure adequate front desk coverage during operating hours.
- Update reception manuals and SOPs regularly to reflect changes in policy, tools, or visitor protocols.
- Handle minor technical issues related to phones, badge printers, or check-in tablets—escalating to IT when necessary.
- Ultimately, set the tone for the entire workplace by making the front desk not just functional—but exceptional.
- Document and improve reception workflows for scalability as the team or office environment grows.
Preferred:
- Background or interest in hospitality, office management, HR support, or customer service.
- Wants to grow into roles like Office Manager, Guest Experience Lead, or Operations Coordinator.
- Understands the importance of first impressions and maintaining a polished, friendly atmosphere.
- Experience managing front desk operations in hospitality, corporate, or medical settings.
- Open to supporting internal events, meetings, and team logistics if needed.
