Description:
We’re hiring a Flight Dispatcher who thrives under pressure, thinks two steps ahead, and understands that every minute matters in the air and on the ground. You’ll be the quiet mastermind behind the cockpit — planning, coordinating, and adjusting every detail of the flight path. From departure to arrival, you’ll plan every flight like a carefully constructed puzzle — and adjust it on the fly when conditions change. You’ll work alongside pilots to ensure every departure is safe, legal, and optimized for performance. When conditions change, you’ll adapt fast — rerouting, recalculating, and communicating without hesitation. You’ll work side-by-side with pilots, updating them in real time, briefing with clarity, and reacting without panic when plans shift. This is not a passive role — you’ll be in the loop for every aircraft in your care, from wheels up to touchdown. You know that even five minutes can matter — to a connection, to a crew, to an entire operation. You’ll monitor each flight as it happens, like a conductor listening to every note in a moving symphony. ” You’ll handle diversions, delays, and tight turnarounds like a chess master sees moves in advance.
Basic Qualifications:
- Maintain accurate records of flight dispatch logs, releases, and communications for auditing and regulatory review.
- Provide guidance to junior dispatchers or assist in on-the-job training under supervision if required.
- Collaborate closely with pilots to ensure mutual agreement on flight routes, alternates, and safety considerations before departure.
- Monitor en-route flights in real time using flight tracking software—adjusting routes or advising diversions when needed due to weather, emergencies, or airspace congestion.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with both flight crews and non-technical teams to align on updates and needs.
Preferred:
- Pays close attention to dispatch logs, weather briefings, and route clearances.
- Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail under time-sensitive conditions.
- Wants to grow into roles like OCC Supervisor, Senior Dispatcher, or Flight Operations Manager.
- Understands how to reroute or delay flights due to technical, crew, or environmental issues.
- Experience working with dispatch systems or flight operations software like LIDO, Sabre, or Jeppesen.
Benefits:
- Shift-based schedule — day, night, and rotating coverage options to match your rhythm and operational needs.
- You’ll be trained, supported, and valued — not just assigned flights and left alone.
- You’ll build flight plans, analyze aircraft performance, manage delays, and adjust to dynamic conditions in real time.
- We provide ongoing certification, simulator training, and compliance updates — safety is a shared priority.
- We trust dispatchers — if you say ground delay or route change, you’re taken seriously.
You’ll use advanced dispatch software and radar tracking tools, but your mindset and training are the real engines behind success. Every decision you make is grounded in regulations, weather data, logic — and the responsibility to protect lives. You’ll be a master of multitasking — keeping track of dozens of flights, timelines, and variables at once. Every flight you touch becomes more than a plan — it becomes a promise of safe passage. Every day you’ll write a dozen invisible flight paths — and feel proud when every one of them ends exactly as it should. You’ll carry the weight of accountability — and the pride that comes from making sure every flight lifts off safely. If you’re passionate about aviation, think like an engineer, and react like a firefighter, this is where you belong — at the nerve center of every journey. If you think fast, stay sharp, and take pride in precision, this isn’t just a job — it’s your runway. If you think in maps, listen to the weather, and find peace in control — welcome to dispatch.
