Description:

We’re hiring an Exterior Painter to work on building facades, balconies, fences, and high walls — ideal for someone who’s not afraid of heights, works well outdoors, and values lasting protection and curb appeal. You’ll prep and paint exterior surfaces using brushes, rollers, and sprayers depending on the material and access method. You’ll prepare surfaces using sandblasting, pressure washing, grinding, or chemical treatments to ensure proper adhesion. You’ll operate sprayers, rollers, or brushes to apply coatings according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards. You’ll help match colors to design plans or coordinate with the general contractor on changes and substitutions. You’ll assist in mixing paints and matching colors using digital tools or traditional formulas. You’ll follow blueprints, facade diagrams, or site markings to know which surfaces and trims require coating. You’ll help mask windows, fixtures, signage, and landscaping before spray applications or splatter-prone techniques. You’ll rotate between prep work, base coats, touch-ups, and second-story detailing depending on the phase of the job.

Basic Qualifications:

• Follow environmental disposal guidelines for paint, solvents, and other materials.
• Collaborate with construction crews, electricians, or other trades to coordinate work timelines.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching holes, and applying primer when needed.
• Repair cracks, drywall, or surface imperfections to ensure a flawless final result.
• Apply specialty finishes such as faux textures, murals, or waterproof coatings when needed.

Preferred:

• Able to mix and match paint colors accurately and apply coatings based on specifications or client preferences.
• Open to seasonal or weather-dependent work including exterior painting and surface prep.
• Can touch up, repaint, or repair previously painted areas as needed for maintenance or finishing.
• Experience painting residential, commercial, or industrial spaces including walls, ceilings, doors, and exteriors.
• Understands how to apply stains, sealants, or specialty finishes to wood, metal, or concrete surfaces.

You’ll be trained in surface compatibility, environmental conditions, and specialty material handling. You’ll assist with samples, mockups, and test areas before final application on any custom project. You’ll receive mentorship from experienced painters who’ll guide you through techniques, prep methods, and product knowledge.
