Description:
We’re hiring a Social Worker to support families in navigating stress, conflict, and life transitions — ideal for someone who believes in healing relationships through empathy, structure, and steady guidance. You’ll work with teens and pre-teens in schools, shelters, or community centers, helping them navigate mental health, peer pressure, and identity issues. You’ll help mediate communication challenges between family members and promote strategies for respectful, effective dialogue. You’ll help create safe spaces where young clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to express themselves. You’ll document all interactions, progress notes, and service plans with accuracy and confidentiality in mind. You’ll be trained to recognize warning signs of depression, anxiety, trauma, or risk behavior and take appropriate action. You’ll connect youth with mental health professionals, tutoring programs, recreational outlets, or mentorship opportunities. You’ll help clients navigate public benefits systems, legal paperwork, and identity documentation processes. You’ll advocate for young clients in meetings with school officials, probation officers, or family support services.
Basic Qualifications:
- Ensure all actions comply with ethical guidelines, agency policies, and legal standards.
- Respond with empathy and professionalism when handling sensitive or emotional situations.
- Recognize signs of abuse, neglect, or exploitation and take appropriate legal steps.
- Develop and implement individualized care or support plans tailored to each client's situation.
- Attend case conferences, court hearings, or interdisciplinary meetings as a client advocate.
Preferred:
- Open to working in schools, shelters, hospitals, correctional facilities, or nonprofit organizations.
- Able to maintain appropriate boundaries, manage stress, and practice self-care in emotionally demanding environments.
- Comfortable facilitating support groups, educational sessions, or family meetings when needed.
- Able to conduct client assessments, develop care plans, and connect individuals with appropriate resources and support services.
- Willing to help clients navigate systems such as healthcare, housing, education, or employment services.
Benefits:
- Access to mental health resources — we support your mental well-being to help you be there for others.
- Competitive pay — your dedication and expertise are rewarded with a fair salary.
- Regular team meetings — where you can share experiences, advice, and best practices.
- Clear career progression — whether you want to specialize or move into management, we offer growth opportunities.
- Access to community resources — you’ll be well-equipped to help clients access the services they need.
You’ll document progress, behavior, and incidents thoroughly while respecting confidentiality and child protection laws. You’ll work in emergency rooms, ICUs, oncology units, maternity wards, or behavioral health departments depending on your caseload. You’ll lead or support group sessions, workshops, or community meetings depending on your assignment and training. You’ll follow professional codes of ethics, uphold client dignity, and practice cultural sensitivity in every interaction. You’ll be a steady source of calm during high-stress conversations, guiding families toward empathy and shared goals. You’ll receive weekly supervision, ongoing case training, and mentorship from senior clinicians or program leads. No license is required for entry-level roles — just empathy, resilience, and the ability to hold space in complex medical settings. If you're ready to meet people where they are and help them move forward, we’re ready to train you for frontline social work. If you’re ready to help people rebuild their lives with dignity and guidance, we’re ready to welcome you as a Social Worker.
