Description:
We’re hiring an Exterior Painter to work on building facades, balconies, fences, and high walls — ideal for someone who’s not afraid of heights, works well outdoors, and values lasting protection and curb appeal. You’ll prepare surfaces by sanding, scraping, patching, and priming to ensure smooth, long-lasting coverage. You’ll prepare walls, ceilings, and trim by patching, sanding, priming, and smoothing surfaces after drywall installation or repairs. You’ll follow client instructions and color specs to match tones, textures, and finishes exactly as requested. You’ll help match colors to design plans or coordinate with the general contractor on changes and substitutions. You’ll work around electricians, tilers, and carpenters in active job sites where timing and teamwork are critical. You’ll follow strict OSHA and jobsite protocols, including confined space entry, fall protection, and hazardous materials handling. You’ll be trained to follow build schedules, paint specifications, and construction safety protocols on every site. You’ll rotate between residential homes, offices, retail spaces, and renovation sites based on the project schedule.
Basic Qualifications:
- Be punctual and professional, respecting client property and working efficiently within deadlines.
- Estimate time, materials, and labor for upcoming jobs and communicate with clients or team leads.
- Operate lifts or extension poles for high-reach areas while maintaining balance and safety.
- Stay updated on eco-friendly paints, surface trends, and advanced application tools.
- Apply specialty finishes such as faux textures, murals, or waterproof coatings when needed.
Preferred:
- Experience painting residential, commercial, or industrial spaces including walls, ceilings, doors, and exteriors.
- Comfortable working independently or as part of a painting crew on larger job sites.
- Willing to work in occupied spaces respectfully, maintaining a clean and quiet work environment.
- Able to follow safety rules, PPE requirements, and handle chemicals like solvents or strippers responsibly.
- Can provide excellent results on both rough and fine-finish painting tasks.
Benefits:
- You’ll work with high-quality paints and tools — no cheap supplies or short cuts.
- Paid training and ongoing development — learn new techniques and trends.
- Supportive, friendly crew — we work hard, but we also have fun.
- Your work speaks for itself — and you get credit for it every time.
- We value your expertise — not just your speed, but your quality.
You’ll work with a team of painters, safety officers, and project managers to stay on schedule and within specs. You’ll be trained in surface compatibility, environmental conditions, and specialty material handling. You’ll be expected to keep your work neat, tools clean, and supplies organized throughout each project. You’ll be expected to complete daily check-ins, log completed surfaces, and report any structural concerns you observe. You’ll receive consistent hours and opportunities to move up into team lead or foreman roles over time. You’ll work indoors or outdoors in all seasons depending on the assignment and surface conditions. No experience is required — just good hand control, physical stamina, and an eye for quality. If you’re ready to put the finishing touch on every space, we’re ready to bring you onto the build as a Painter.
