Description:
We’re looking for a Sales Assistant Trainee who’s eager to learn the art of customer service, communication, and retail operations — no experience required, just a positive attitude and a willingness to grow. You’ll be introduced to the daily operations of the store, from welcoming customers to helping them find what they need. You’ll observe how experienced staff handle everything from product recommendations to checkout procedures. You’ll learn how to restock shelves, tidy displays, and make sure everything is clean, organized, and easy to find. We’ll teach you how to operate the till, scan items, process payments, and handle basic returns or exchanges. You’ll assist in setting up promotions, organizing stockrooms, and ensuring displays always look fresh and inviting. You’ll learn how to stay focused, calm, and helpful — even during peak hours or busy weekends. You’ll be part of team meetings, where you'll learn how promotions, seasonal products, and store strategy are communicated. You’ll be encouraged to ask questions, take notes, and actively observe how experienced staff handle different customer needs.
Basic Qualifications:
- Report low stock or customer feedback to supervisors to help improve operations.
- Greet customers warmly and help them find products that fit their needs or style.
- Support other departments as needed, especially during busy seasons.
- Balance friendliness with efficiency, especially during peak hours.
- Work as part of a team to meet daily sales goals and store targets.
Preferred:
- Able to multitask during busy periods, especially weekends or sales events.
- Pays attention to product presentation, cleanliness, and merchandising standards on the sales floor.
- Can handle customer complaints or returns with professionalism and a problem-solving attitude.
- Comfortable learning about new products, seasonal changes, or inventory updates quickly.
- Background or interest in retail, fashion, electronics, home goods, or specialty sales.
