Basic Qualifications:

• Communicate clearly with team members, dispatch, and emergency services during missions.
• Evacuate civilians from dangerous areas and provide basic first aid when needed.
• Maintain fire trucks, gear, and breathing equipment to ensure they’re always mission-ready.
• Perform fire hydrant inspections and maintain familiarity with local layouts.
• Remain calm and decisive in life-threatening situations with minimal information.

Preferred:

• Certified in fire science, emergency response, or firefighting training programs.
• Comfortable working closely with other emergency services like police and paramedics.
• Understands how to use firefighting tools such as hoses, extinguishers, axes, and breathing apparatus.
• Understands how to assess fire scenes, contain hazards, and prevent further damage.
• Familiar with operating and maintaining fire trucks, pumps, and rescue equipment.
