We’re looking for an HR Specialist (Recruiter) Trainee who’s ready to dive into the fast-paced world of hiring — no experience required, just energy, people skills, and a desire to build great teams. No experience needed — just strong interpersonal skills, curiosity, and a willingness to learn how hiring really works. We’ll teach you how to craft inclusive job descriptions, align them with hiring needs, and post them strategically. You’ll assist in screening candidates, reviewing applications, and identifying who best matches each role. You’ll sit in on interviews and learn how to evaluate both hard skills and cultural fit. We’ll show you how to build talent pools, keep notes organized, and track candidate stages with precision. We’ll guide you in writing outreach messages, follow-ups, and rejections with professionalism and empathy. You’ll assist with hiring metrics like time-to-fill and candidate response rates — and learn how to interpret them. You’ll also support diversity and inclusion efforts, learning how to reduce bias and expand reach.

Basic Qualifications:

• Provide feedback to candidates and internal stakeholders promptly and constructively.
• Use ATS tools to organize applications, track progress, and maintain data integrity.
• Partner with HR teammates on employer branding, career fairs, or outreach campaigns.
• Refine processes to reduce time-to-hire and improve candidate quality.
• Build talent pipelines for frequently hired or hard-to-fill roles in advance.

Preferred:

• Understands how to use Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, and job boards effectively.
• Comfortable screening resumes, conducting phone screens, and evaluating candidate fit.
• Pays attention to cultural fit, soft skills, and growth potential during evaluation.
• Organized with hiring pipelines, interview notes, and offer documentation.
• Can collaborate with department heads to refine hiring profiles or revise sourcing strategies.
