Description:

We’re looking for an Online Community Support professional who understands that great communities don’t just happen — they’re nurtured. You’ll be the heartbeat of our online community — greeting new members, answering questions, mediating tricky threads, and encouraging authentic, respectful interaction. You’ll monitor discussions, jump in where needed, and make sure the tone of the space stays respectful, inclusive, and on-brand. This isn’t just moderation — it’s community care. You’ll work closely with marketing, support, and product teams to surface feedback, flag recurring issues, and share insights on what people are loving (or not). Whether it’s responding to a technical question, managing a lively discussion, or diffusing a tense moment, you’ll do it with patience, empathy, and professionalism.

Basic Qualifications:

• Collect feedback and ideas from community members and surface them internally to the product or leadership team.
• Document best practices and tone guidelines for other team members or future community hires.
• Be the bridge between the brand and its people—always human, always helpful.
• Keep tabs on community sentiment—what people love, what annoys them, what they’re confused about.
• Welcome new members, introduce them to key resources, and help them feel at home from day one.

Preferred:

• Understands the balance between freedom of expression and maintaining order.
• Background or strong interest in communications, psychology, digital media, or customer success.
• Can write concise, helpful replies while keeping the brand voice consistent.
• Can help onboard new members, share announcements, and guide discussions.
• Familiar with moderation tools and platforms like Discord, Facebook Groups, Reddit, or Circle.
