Description:

We’re hiring a Factory Operator to support operations in our metal processing facility — ideal for someone who’s strong, focused, and committed to safety in an industrial environment. You’ll operate heavy-duty equipment such as press brakes, rollers, furnaces, or cutting machines depending on your assigned station. You’ll monitor gauges, sensors, and displays to ensure equipment is functioning correctly and within safety limits. You’ll watch over conveyor systems, robotic arms, or packaging machines, making real-time adjustments to prevent errors or waste. You’ll help handle sheet metal, rods, bars, or castings using forklifts, cranes, or hand tools depending on product type. You’ll document machine output, downtime, and quality control data in digital systems as part of production tracking. You’ll be expected to communicate clearly during shift handovers to keep the next team informed and prepared. You’ll document material usage, scrap, and output volume for production tracking and compliance records. You’ll rotate through hot zones, cool-down stations, and prep areas while following strict PPE requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Adapt quickly to changes in production orders, product types, or equipment adjustments.
  • Report accidents, near-misses, or unsafe conditions immediately for corrective action.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of tools, dies, or molds used in manufacturing.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, free of safety hazards and unnecessary clutter.
  • Work on repetitive tasks while maintaining focus and consistency throughout long shifts.

Preferred:

  • Background or interest in industrial operations, mechanical systems, or manufacturing processes.
  • Able to follow technical instructions, blueprints, or standard operating procedures (SOPs) with accuracy.
  • Open to learning how to operate new machines, follow new product specs, or apply lean manufacturing principles.
  • Understands and follows safety protocols including lockout/tagout procedures and proper PPE usage.
  • Capable of performing repetitive tasks for long periods with consistency and attention to detail.

Benefits:

  • Job stability — factories are the backbone of manufacturing, and your position is critical.
  • Competitive pay — your role in the production process is valued and fairly compensated.
  • A sense of accomplishment — each day you’ll know your efforts directly contribute to creating a product people need.
  • Access to mental health resources — we support your emotional and psychological well-being.
  • Your work keeps the wheels of industry turning — you play an essential role in production.

You’ll receive regular feedback and performance check-ins to support long-term growth and shift consistency. You’ll participate in safety drills, team briefings, and scheduled training even if your shift occurs during non-standard hours. You’ll assist with sorting, stacking, or bundling metal parts for transport or final packaging. You’ll receive guidance on lean production, waste reduction, and proper material usage. You’ll be expected to work on your feet in a chilled, clean, and sometimes fast-paced environment. You’ll be expected to stand, move, and focus for long shifts — often around moving parts and loud environments. Prior experience in factory operations is preferred, along with comfort using touchscreens, control panels, or simple diagnostic tools. If you’re ready to power production day and night and be a vital link in the chain, we’re ready to bring you onboard full-time. If you're ready to keep production moving, meet goals, and support your team, we’re ready to have you on the floor.
