Description:

We’re looking for a Radiologic Technologist Trainee — no prior experience needed, just focus, care, and a strong interest in medical imaging. You’ll train with modern imaging equipment used in emergency rooms, trauma units, and diagnostic labs across the hospital. From day one, we’ll train you on safety protocols, positioning techniques, and how to work closely with patients of all ages and conditions. You’ll assist in urgent situations — car accidents, fractures, internal injuries — where every second and every image counts. We’ll teach you how to protect yourself and others from unnecessary radiation exposure while capturing high-quality diagnostic images. You’ll begin to understand how X-rays, CT scans, and fluoroscopy contribute to accurate diagnosis and early detection. Expect a blend of hands-on learning, detailed technical training, and compassionate patient interaction. Here, you won’t just press buttons — you’ll help keep the entire diagnostic process moving. You’ll learn how to adjust for wheelchairs, stretchers, and medical limitations without ever making patients feel like a burden.

Basic Qualifications:

• Double-check imaging orders to confirm the correct body part and procedure before scanning.
• Be ready to assist during trauma cases or emergency imaging needs at any hour.
• Take pride in being the unseen part of many diagnoses, helping doctors see what others can’t.
• Handle sensitive health information with full confidentiality and professionalism.
• Work closely with radiologists and physicians to provide accurate imaging for diagnosis.

Preferred:

• Excited to contribute to diagnostic processes that support accurate treatment decisions.
• Capable of recognizing artifacts or errors and repeating scans when necessary to ensure diagnostic quality.
• Understands how to adhere to ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) standards for radiation exposure.
• Certified and licensed as a radiologic technologist, with training in X-ray imaging procedures.
• Familiar with performing chest, extremity, spine, and abdominal X-rays under physician direction.
