Description:
We’re hiring a Dental Assistant who brings more than just clinical skill — you bring heart, presence, and trust to every patient interaction. You’ll prep treatment rooms with care, ensuring everything is spotless, stocked, and ready before the first patient arrives. From preparing treatment rooms to handing instruments during procedures, you’ll be an extra set of skilled hands for the dentist. You’ll sterilize tools, manage supplies, and make sure everything is spotless, safe, and ready to go. You’ll assist with X-rays, impressions, suction, and everything in between — always one step ahead. You know when to speak, when to listen, and when to reassure a nervous patient with just a look. You’re the kind of person who wipes a counter *before* anyone notices it’s dirty. Your role may not always be in the spotlight, but it’s felt in every smooth procedure and every grateful goodbye. You’ll update charts, track inventory, and ensure every detail is in place behind the scenes.
Basic Qualifications:
- Help maintain dental equipment such as autoclaves, suction systems, curing lights, and chairs—reporting malfunctions promptly.
- Order and manage inventory of dental supplies and ensure all instruments are accounted for, labeled, and functional.
- Assist the dentist during procedures by handing instruments, suctioning, taking impressions, and ensuring patient comfort.
- Support oral surgeries or specialty treatments (e.g., orthodontics, endodontics) as needed based on clinic services.
- Maintain patient records by recording treatment information, vitals, and updates accurately in the dental practice software.
Preferred:
- Strong interpersonal skills to help patients feel at ease before and during treatment.
- Experience assisting dentists during procedures such as cleanings, fillings, and extractions.
- Values cleanliness, reliability, and clear communication in healthcare settings.
- Familiar with OSHA and HIPAA regulations and follows them consistently.
- Can calmly manage situations involving anxious patients, children, or medical emergencies.
Benefits:
- If you love a clean tray, a calm room, and a role that combines people and precision — this is your chair.
- Your consistency and prep help reduce patient anxiety and improve care outcomes.
- You’ll build relationships with returning patients — and they’ll ask for you by name.
- Your work helps people smile — literally.
- Work in a calm, professional environment where your organization and care help patients feel at ease.
” You’ll keep the day moving and the energy positive, even when the schedule gets wild. ” You’ll support the flow of the entire office — making sure time is respected and patients never feel rushed. You’re someone who knows that healthcare is human work, and dentistry is no exception. You’re quick, calm, focused — but never too busy to offer a smile or an extra moment of reassurance. You bring energy, focus, and a sense of calm into every exam room you walk into. You’re reliable, professional, and always learning — because this field moves fast, and so do you. You’ll help create a space where people feel safe to ask questions, share fears, and feel truly seen. If you love helping people feel better — not just physically, but emotionally too — we’d love to meet you.
