Description:

We’re hiring an enthusiastic Online English Tutor to help students improve their language skills through personalized lessons. You’ll be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans that meet the individual needs and learning goals of each student. You’ll create customized lesson plans to focus on areas such as grammar, vocabulary, writing, and speaking skills. You’ll provide constructive feedback, encouraging students to improve their speaking, writing, and comprehension skills. You’ll provide constructive feedback on assignments and during conversations, helping students improve their language abilities. You’ll assess student progress, adjusting lesson plans and techniques to ensure continued development and success. You’ll foster a positive learning environment, making lessons enjoyable and engaging through interactive activities and exercises. You’ll create a fun and interactive learning environment, using multimedia, real-life scenarios, and games to keep students engaged.

Basic Qualifications:

• Maintain punctuality and professionalism—respecting student time and showing up prepared, even across time zones.
• Assess students' progress regularly through quizzes, speaking practice, and personalized feedback.
• Encourage shy or beginner learners through praise, repetition, and gentle correction.
• Create a safe learning space where mistakes are welcomed as part of growth, not something to fear.
• Use a mix of real-life examples, role-plays, and interactive tools to make lessons practical and enjoyable.

Preferred:

• Can adapt teaching style for kids, teens, or adults depending on age and learning style.
• Able to tailor lessons to different levels — from beginner to advanced.
• Experience teaching English online or in-person, either formally or informally.
• Background or strong interest in education, linguistics, communication, or foreign languages.
• Able to manage one-on-one or small group sessions remotely with professionalism.
