Description:

We’re hiring a Manicurist Trainee who’s passionate about beauty, detail, and helping clients feel confident through high-quality nail care. You’ll begin by learning how to perform clean manicures using non-toxic, vegan, and cruelty-free products. You’ll assist in setting up temporary stations in homes, offices, and events — ensuring cleanliness, comfort, and lighting. You’ll be trained in efficient workflows for manicures, pedicures, and express services that respect the client’s time and space. You’ll learn how to adapt to different environments — small apartments, corporate lounges, or outdoor patios — while maintaining salon-level quality. You’ll learn how to execute popular styles like ombré, marble, French fade, chrome, or matte finishes. You’ll be taught to work without drills or aggressive tools, focusing on preserving the integrity of the natural nail. You’ll assist with gel and polish application using steady handwork and clean, even layers free from bubbles or streaks. You’ll receive guidance on composition, balance, and theme-based nail sets for photo shoots or seasonal drops.

Basic Qualifications:

• Build long-term client relationships through excellent service and consistent results.
• Educate clients about proper nail health and hygiene when appropriate.
• Follow local health regulations, licensing requirements, and salon policies at all times.
• Handle client concerns or requests for corrections with grace and professionalism.
• Use electric files, UV lamps, and other equipment properly and safely.

Preferred:

• Values cleanliness, attention to detail, and creativity in every service.
• Familiar with shaping nails, cuticle care, buffing, and applying polish with precision and consistency.
• Knowledge of current trends in nail art, seasonal designs, and customer style preferences.
• Open to handling back-to-back appointments and peak salon hours with professionalism and patience.
• Able to create hand-painted designs, use rhinestones, foils, and stamping techniques with creativity.
