Description:

We’re on the hunt for a WordPress Assistant who’s part tech-savvy problem solver, part content perfectionist. You’ve probably spent hours inside the WordPress dashboard, adjusting layouts, formatting posts, uploading media, and making sure pages look just right. You’re familiar with visual builders like Elementor or Gutenberg, and you know how to use them to build clean, responsive layouts that stay on-brand. You’re comfortable using page builders like Elementor or WPBakery, and you know how to make things look good without overcomplicating the backend. You understand how WordPress works — from the media library to permalink structures — and you’re confident helping teams stay on top of updates, backups, and general maintenance. Maybe you’ve optimized a few pages for SEO, resized a lot of images, or even cleaned up a theme that had way too many unnecessary features.

Basic Qualifications:

• Support eCommerce setups (WooCommerce) by managing products, inventory, or simple plugin settings.
• Assist in building and updating WordPress sites using themes, plugins, and custom settings—no need to reinvent the wheel, just make it clean and functional.
• Update site headers, footers, menus, and widgets as needed across pages.
• Stay familiar with popular themes and plugins, and learn when to use what based on project needs.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks like updating plugins, themes, and WordPress core to keep everything secure and stable.

Preferred:

• Organized and responsible when handling logins, user roles, and file uploads.
• Basic understanding of how WordPress works, including themes, plugins, and page builders.
• Pays attention to SEO basics using tools like Yoast SEO or Rank Math.
• Excited to grow into roles like WordPress Developer, Content Manager, or Website Administrator.
• Comfortable testing site functionality across desktop and mobile devices.
