Description:

We’re hiring a Manual QA Tester who knows that great user experience starts with careful testing — someone who’s detail-obsessed, methodical, and committed to making sure nothing broken slips through the cracks. You’ll test mobile apps across iOS and Android devices, verifying that every screen, gesture, and interaction works as intended. You’ll execute structured test cases, but also think freely to test the weird, the unexpected, and the forgotten corners of the product. You’ll follow test plans, run checklists, and use your instincts to go beyond the obvious paths and find hidden problems. You’ll work alongside developers and designers to understand product logic and identify edge cases they might miss. You’ll participate in daily standups and sprint planning to stay aligned with upcoming releases and testing timelines. You’ll verify fixes in new builds, test in staging environments, and run regression checks before releases go live. You’ll assist in updating test documentation and flag outdated cases that no longer reflect the product accurately. You’ll verify fixed issues, retest features after changes, and keep regression from creeping into stable builds. You’ll assist in exploratory testing, negative testing, and usability checks to provide full-spectrum quality feedback.

Basic Qualifications:

• Log bugs with clear steps to reproduce, screenshots, and notes for developers to act on.
• Keep notes on known issues, tricky flows, or feature quirks for the team’s collective memory.
• Validate UI/UX consistency, checking layout, alignment, and responsiveness by eye and intuition.
• Work closely with developers, designers, and PMs to catch issues early in the build cycle.
• Understand the product deeply so you can think like a real user, not just a checklist robot.

Preferred:

• Background or interest in software quality, product testing, or digital product development.
• Pays attention to UI/UX details, layout consistency, and basic functionality during exploratory testing.
• Able to follow checklists and SOPs but also think critically to spot non-obvious issues.
• Knows how to perform smoke tests, sanity tests, regression tests, and UAT where needed.
• Thrives in fast-paced, iterative teams that ship frequently and improve continuously.
