Description:

We’re hiring a Painter to help transform residential and commercial spaces with precision, care, and a steady hand — perfect for someone who enjoys visual results and takes pride in a clean finish. You’ll work in factories, warehouses, bridges, and shipyards applying primers, epoxies, and specialty coatings that protect equipment and infrastructure from wear and corrosion. You’ll prepare walls, ceilings, and trim by patching, sanding, priming, and smoothing surfaces after drywall installation or repairs. You’ll clean, scrape, sandblast, or pressure wash surfaces to remove dirt, peeling paint, and mildew before applying coatings. You’ll help set up and break down containment areas, scaffolding, and ventilation systems before and after each job. You’ll assist in mixing paints and matching colors using digital tools or traditional formulas. You’ll tape, cover, and protect freshly installed cabinetry, floors, and fixtures before painting begins. You’ll be trained to work on both interior and exterior surfaces including walls, ceilings, doors, trim, and siding. You’ll rotate between residential homes, offices, retail spaces, and renovation sites based on the project schedule.

Basic Qualifications:

• Follow environmental disposal guidelines for paint, solvents, and other materials.
• Repair cracks, drywall, or surface imperfections to ensure a flawless final result.
• Work on both interior and exterior painting projects across residential, commercial, or industrial sites.
• Track paint usage, supply needs, and report low inventory to supervisors in a timely manner.
• Follow blueprints or color schemes provided by clients, designers, or supervisors.

Preferred:

• Open to seasonal or weather-dependent work including exterior painting and surface prep.
• Able to mix and match paint colors accurately and apply coatings based on specifications or client preferences.
• Able to follow safety rules, PPE requirements, and handle chemicals like solvents or strippers responsibly.
• Willing to protect furniture, floors, and fixtures using drop cloths, tape, and coverings.
• Can touch up, repaint, or repair previously painted areas as needed for maintenance or finishing.

You’ll help install signage, patch scuffs, and handle small touch-ups before final inspection or walkthrough. You’ll help clean brushes, rollers, trays, and workspaces at the end of each shift, leaving the site tidy and professional. You’ll assist with loading and unloading paint materials, tools, and job site supplies. You’ll be expected to work efficiently while maintaining high attention to detail and clean lines. You’ll receive mentorship from experienced painters who’ll guide you through techniques, prep methods, and product knowledge. Previous experience is a plus, but we’ll train the right person who’s reliable, observant, and ready to work hard.
