Description:

We’re hiring a Loader Trainee to join our food distribution warehouse, where speed, cleanliness, and care are essential to keeping stores and restaurants fully stocked. You’ll assist in unloading delivery trucks filled with construction materials like cement, bricks, tools, pipes, and lumber. You’ll be trained on how to lift properly, use trolleys and pallet jacks, and avoid injury during repetitive tasks. You’ll help move materials across the site to where they’re needed — sometimes on foot, sometimes with wheelbarrows or dollies. You’ll be trained to stack, cover, and secure materials to protect them from weather or accidental damage. You’ll gain awareness of heavy machinery zones, learning where to walk, when to wait, and how to signal for movement. You’ll support unloading procedures by stacking goods neatly, disposing of damaged packaging, and alerting supervisors to issues. You’ll assist in weatherproofing cargo during rain, wind, or salt-heavy conditions to protect materials and packaging. You’ll work at a steady pace, learning how to stay focused during repetitive tasks and manage energy through the night.

Basic Qualifications:

• Stack items efficiently and securely to prevent shifting or falling during transport.
• Follow weight limits and stacking guidelines to ensure safe and balanced loads.
