Description:

We’re looking for a Film Director who knows how to turn a vision into a visceral experience — someone who leads with intent, collaborates with empathy, and crafts stories that resonate on screen and beyond. You’ll be the creative force behind our productions, responsible for translating scripts into compelling visual journeys across genres and formats. You’ll work closely with screenwriters, producers, and cinematographers to ensure narrative, pacing, and style are aligned from day one. You’ll lead casting sessions, direct actors with nuance, and bring out performances that feel authentic and layered. You’ll make critical decisions around camera movement, blocking, and framing to maximize narrative and visual impact. We’re looking for a director who brings their own cinematic language — whether poetic, grounded, stylized, or experimental. We’ll rely on your leadership during shooting — keeping energy high, focus tight, and quality uncompromised. You’ll be present on set as both a leader and an artist — solving problems in real time while maintaining creative integrity. On set, you’ll maintain momentum, focus, and morale while ensuring artistic integrity is never compromised.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Work under pressure while juggling multiple creative, technical, and interpersonal demands.
  • Keep the crew inspired, focused, and aligned—even when energy dips after long days.
  • Maintain a clear vision while staying flexible enough to adapt to unexpected moments of brilliance.
  • Oversee rehearsals, blocking, and on-set dynamics to ensure a smooth production flow.
  • Supervise post-production by working closely with editors, sound designers, VFX artists, and colorists.

Preferred:

  • Comfortable pitching concepts, securing funding, or working within client or studio guidelines.
  • Thrives in high-pressure, creative environments where leadership and vision drive impact.
  • Capable of giving detailed creative notes to editors, composers, and colorists during post.
  • Experience reviewing dailies, guiding editors, and overseeing the post-production process.
  • Able to create a positive set culture that supports collaboration, diversity, and professionalism.

Benefits:

  • Your name isn’t buried in credits — it’s the first one they see.
  • Creative control where it matters — your vision drives the frame.
  • Team retreats, late-night idea sessions, and storyboarding over coffee included.
  • Festivals? We aim for them — and cover submissions.
  • Freedom to explore bold, weird, or deeply human stories — no formulaic scripts.

In post, you’ll collaborate with editors and colorists to refine rhythm, tone, and emotional throughlines. You should have experience across short or feature-length work and be comfortable balancing art and realism. This role requires not just talent, but leadership — someone who can inspire trust, guide without ego, and protect the soul of the story. You’ll mentor junior creatives, foster an inclusive set culture, and create space for collaboration without ego. You’ll be trusted to make bold choices — and to know when subtlety speaks louder than spectacle. We value directors who communicate well under pressure, stay grounded, and make everyone on set feel seen and supported. If you believe that great directing is as much about listening as leading — and that the best stories are told through trust — we want to work with you. Let’s create films that don’t just entertain — but stay with people, shape conversations, and mean something.
