Description:

We’re looking for a Junior QA Tester to join our team and help ensure the quality and functionality of our software products. You’ll be responsible for executing manual tests, identifying issues, and collaborating with developers to resolve them. You’ll write detailed bug reports, track test progress, and help ensure that software meets the required standards and specifications. You’ll assist in writing test cases, validating software performance, and ensuring compliance with product requirements. You’ll perform manual testing, focusing on functionality, usability, and compatibility, ensuring the software delivers a flawless user experience. You’ll help automate testing processes, creating scripts to enhance efficiency and reduce manual testing time. You’ll assist in maintaining test environments and ensure testing tools and scripts are up-to-date. You’ll work closely with the product team to understand requirements and provide feedback on potential improvements.

Basic Qualifications:

• Execute manual test cases based on requirements and user stories to identify bugs, UI issues, or performance inconsistencies.
• Test across multiple devices, browsers, and screen sizes to ensure consistent behavior and responsiveness.
• Learn how to test for accessibility, performance, and mobile behavior—QA goes beyond "does it work?"
• Be curious—ask "what happens if…" and test like a real user, not just a script.
• Participate in standups or sprint reviews, raising red flags early if something doesn’t look or feel right.

Preferred:

• Knows how to review UI/UX for consistency and spot layout or responsiveness issues.
• Comfortable asking questions and raising concerns when something seems off.
• Can work independently on small testing tasks or pair with other testers on larger features.
• Background or interest in software development, quality assurance, or tech in general.
• Open to writing documentation or contributing to QA process improvements.

You’ll track test results, analyzing defects and providing regular reports to leadership on progress and issues found. You’ll assist with preparing test environments, ensuring the necessary tools and platforms are ready for testing. You’ll provide regular reports on test progress and results, highlighting critical issues and suggesting improvements.
